Referral Partner Agreement

An agreement between you, the referral partner, and Global Document Solutions.

You accept these terms when you share your referral link or card.
No signature is needed online.

1What counts as your introduction

  1. 1.1A business counts as yours when it contacts us through your link or QR code within 90 days.
  2. 1.2It also counts when the business quotes your partner code, or when you email us an introduction with them copied in.
  3. 1.3If two partners introduce the same business, the first introduction we receive counts.
  4. 1.4Existing GDS customers, and businesses already getting a quote from us, do not count as new introductions.

2What you both receive

  1. 2.1For each introduction that signs, you choose one reward: a $750 Visa card, or a $750 Flight Centre or Red Balloon experience voucher.
  2. 2.2The business you introduce chooses one of the same two rewards.
  3. 2.3Existing GDS customers who introduce a business get the same choice.
  4. 2.4Rewards are never paid as cash, and cannot be swapped for a discount or a credit on an invoice.

3How and when rewards are sent

  1. 3.1The lease must be signed and the machine installed first.
  2. 3.2We send both rewards within seven days of the business you introduced paying its first invoice.
  3. 3.3Rewards are sent to the email address we hold for each of you.
  4. 3.4Each voucher follows the terms and expiry dates set by the business that issues it.

4Doing it properly

  1. 4.1If you work for the business you introduce, we can only reward you with your employer’s written consent.
  2. 4.2Without that consent, the reward goes to the business instead.
  3. 4.3Accountants and other advisers tell their client about the referral fee where their professional rules require it, such as APES 110.
  4. 4.4When you mention GDS, describe our pricing and services only as they appear on our website.
  5. 4.5You are not our employee or agent, and you cannot make promises on our behalf.

5Privacy

  1. 5.1Only pass on someone’s details if they are happy for us to call them.
  2. 5.2We both handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988, and use it only for the introduction.

6Changes and ending

  1. 6.1Either of us can end this agreement at any time by email.
  2. 6.2Rewards already earned are still sent.
  3. 6.3We may update these terms with 30 days notice by email, and introductions made before a change keep the terms they were made under.
  4. 6.4If there is a disagreement about who introduced a business, we check our records and decide fairly.
