Printer leasing for small business
One monthly figure covers the machine, the toner and the servicing.
Within your agreed monthly page volume, with paper and extra pages outside it.
A small office has no one to fix the printer
In a small business, a broken printer often lands on the owner’s desk.
A lease moves that job to us.
Up to the page volume you agree to each month, one figure pays for toner, parts, technician labour and call outs.
You supply the paper.

-
No large purchase to start
The cost of the machine is spread across the term instead of paid in one go.
That leaves your cash for stock, wages and rent.
-
Toner without the store run
Toner is part of the monthly figure, within your agreed page volume.
You stop buying cartridges one at a time.
-
Servicing inside the same figure
Parts, technician labour and call outs are part of what you pay each month.
A fault means one phone call, not a search for a repairer.
-
A machine sized to your work
We match the machine to the pages you print, not to a brochure average.
A small office is not sold a machine built for a floor of fifty.
What the monthly figure covers
Here is what sits inside the figure, and the two things that sit outside it.
Inside it
- The machine, sized to what your office prints
- Toner, within your agreed monthly page volume
- Replacement parts and the technician’s time
- Call outs when something stops working
- Getting your computers printing and scan to email working
Outside it
- Paper, bought from whichever supplier you prefer
- Any pages over your monthly allowance, charged per page at the rate shown on your quote
You see both the allowance and that per page rate in writing before you agree to anything.
You can also read how lease pricing works plan by plan.
Which machine suits a small office?
There are two sizes of colour multifunction to choose from, and each one prints, copies and scans.
A4 colour multifunction
It prints up to A4, the size of a standard letter or invoice.
It suits offices printing quotes, invoices, letters and forms.
A3 colour multifunction
It prints up to A3, which is twice the size of A4.
It suits offices printing plans, posters, menus and brochures in house.
Not sure which one you need?
Tell us what you print and we will size the machine for you.
Some trades print differently, so you can also see printer leasing by industry.
What you commit to, in plain words
A lease is a commitment, so here is the whole of it before you ask for a figure.
-
The term36, 48 or 60 months
A clear fixed term
You choose the length when you start.
We do not offer short term hire, so a lease suits a business that plans to keep printing for the full term.
-
At the endYour choice
No automatic renewal
Once your term is up, nothing renews by itself.
The agreement carries on one month at a time while you choose to upgrade, keep the machine or return it.
-
Your rightsAustralian Consumer Law
Protection from unfair terms
A lease is usually a standard form contract, and Australian law gives small businesses protection against unfair terms in contracts of that kind.
The ACCC explains how those contract rules work.
When buying is the better choice
Leasing is not right for every small business.
If you print very little and plan to keep one small machine for years, buying can cost less.
A lease suits you when the printer matters to your working day and you want its running costs in one figure.
If buying suits you better, we will tell you.
Our lease or buy guide sets out both paths in full.
Three steps to a written figure
No site visit is needed.
We work from the pages you print, so a rough count is enough to start.
Already leasing a machine?
Send us the invoice you pay now and we will put it next to our figure, one line at a time.
If your current deal is the better one, we will say so.
-
Give us a rough count of the pages you print in a month.
-
Receive a single figure in writing that shows your allowance and the per page rate beyond it.
-
We bring the machine, install it and have it working with your computers before we go.

Two customers, quoted word for word from their Google reviews.
Very happy with the service Cyrus provided.
Guidance from what printer would suit my office needs through to the delivery of the machine.
Also very competitive pricing.
We replaced our existing machine (also through GDS) and, as always, the process was seamless. We had our machine up and running with minimal downtime. Thanks Cyrus and team.
Questions small businesses ask first
Can a small business lease just one printer?
Yes, one machine is enough.
We lease to offices with a single printer as well as groups with many sites.
How long is a printer lease for a small business?
You choose a term of 36, 48 or 60 months.
We do not offer short term or seasonal hire.
What does the monthly figure include?
It pays for the machine plus toner, parts, technician labour and call outs, up to the page volume you agreed.
You supply paper, and any pages beyond the allowance are billed per page at the rate shown on your quote.
What happens when the lease ends?
Nothing renews automatically.
The agreement carries on one month at a time until you choose to upgrade, keep the machine or return it.
Is it better to lease or buy a printer for a small business?
It depends on how much you print and how long you keep equipment.
Buying can cost less for a business that prints very little, while a lease puts the machine and its running costs into one monthly figure.
What do I need to send to get a figure?
An estimate of the pages you print each month is enough.
If a machine is already on lease, your latest invoice gets you there sooner.
Get the figure for your business
Tell us roughly how much you print and we send back one written figure.
Your allowance, the per page rate beyond it and the length of the term all appear together.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
