How much does printer rental cost?
Rental plans open at $160 a month plus GST, and three things move that number.
Nothing else changes it, so a page count is usually all we need to price the job.
Photocopier rental is priced the same way, because it is the same machine class.
How many pages a month
Volume settles the machine class before anything else does.
A team printing 2,000 pages needs a different device from one printing 10,000.
Pages past your agreed volume are billed at the cost per copy named in your quote.

Mono only, or colour as well
Colour costs more per page than mono on every machine ever made.
If only a tenth of your work is colour, we size the plan around that split.
A4 only, or A3 as well
A3 adds hardware, so it adds cost.
Plenty of offices never need it, and we will say so rather than sell it.

If the machine needs it in order to keep working, it is already priced in.
Paper is the single exception.

Three years suits a settled office
Pick 36 months if your team size and your print volume are steady.
It is the shortest of the long terms and it keeps the newest hardware coming round sooner.
Five years suits a heavy print load
Pick 60 months if you print a lot and you want the lowest monthly figure.
The machine is built for the mileage and the term spreads it furthest.
The same terms apply if you would rather call it a photocopier lease.
The term does not lock the machine
If your volume outgrows the device partway through, the device can be changed.

What happens when the rental term ends
Nothing renews itself, because there is no auto renew clause in the agreement.
